Get started with finding your perfect match:

Want a big screen for the big game?
You’re not alone! Last year, 44% of Americans bought a new TV primarily to enjoy the luxury of a larger screen (Circana), with the largest growth in 85-inch+ screens.

James Fishler, Senior Vice President, Home Entertainment & Display Division, Samsung Electronics America adds, “When it comes to choosing the right TV, always choose the highest quality screen that’s right for your lifestyle – and whichever you pick, I suggest considering a larger screen size. Most people are surprised to hear that the recommended viewing distance for a 98-inch 4K TV is just six to 12 feet – making it perfect for medium-to-large living rooms and open layout homes.”

If you’re considering getting a larger screen, but aren’t sure if it will fit your space – check out our handy guide. A quick rule of thumb is to multiply the diagonal length of the TV by 1.2 to determine your ideal viewing distance.  For example, a 98” screen would require 118 inches or 9.8 feet of space between your couch and the TV for optimal viewing.

If that’s what you’re looking for, shop our ultra-large screens – like our Samsung 98” Class Neo QLED 4K (Q80C) and the Samsung 98” Class Neo QLED 8K (QN990C).
